The he-said-she-said battle between porn star/entrepreneur Jenna Jameson and UFC fighter Tito Ortiz is escalating.

Wearing a wrap on her right elbow, Jenna told reporters Monday that Tito Ortiz had “lashed out” at her, resulting in her father calling 911 and Tito being arrested in Huntingon Beach, Calif., on domestic violence charges.

But after he was released on bail, a teary-eyed Tito and his lawyer held a press conference late Monday in Los Angeles and put the blame on Jameson.

“Jenna has been fighting a battle with OxyContin addiction for the past year. For Tito and her family this has been an uphill battle. Unfortunately this morning she had a relapse,” Ortiz’s lawyer Chip Matthews said. “Tito was trying to help her, she has threatened suicide before. Tito has done everything in his power to protect her privacy and the privacy of their children.”

Jenna told TMZ, however, that Tito was violent – he “threw me into a bathtub” — and that he’s falsely accusing her of OxyContin addiction because he’s “very, very desperate.”

Compare this with Cattrall’s costar Sarah Jessica Parker, regarding whom Peter Griffin once said: “looks like a foot.” Well, if that’s true, she now looks like a mannequin’s foot. She has had her face pulled tight in an effort to look like her younger self, but why? Her younger self was Rusty in Footloose: The girl not hot enough to date Kevin Bacon who had to settle for Chris Penn. She looked better in the ‘90s. Also, her cutesy outfits (pink tutu included) may have made her famous with college girls, but guys could care less. Give us a sophisticated older woman in a sleek black dress any day.

An unfortunate baby-mama history

This trend of baby mamas trying to look like babies instead of sophisticated older women took root in the ‘70s. The backlash of the love generation birthed Farrah Fawcett in little boy’s runner shorts and tight tank tops. It continued through the ‘80s, when Madonna looked like a little girl playing dress-up in her mother’s closet. It came to fruition in the ‘90s, when Pamela Anderson didn’t even try to hide her teen-esque style in the guise of a fashion statement: Tube tops, taut jeans and tans screamed, “Look at my tits.” Guys looked and so did women — ushering in the plastic generation: plastic faces and plastic personalities.

When females’ tube tops began to sag and their tans wrinkled, rather than evolve, they nipped and tucked. They continued dressing in Juicy Couture and dating through MySpace because their new faces fooled their owners into believing they were 10 years younger. Seeing Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston chirp one-liners on Friends convinced them that a personality could be developed through losing more weight. Unfortunately, they didn’t have Emmy-winning writers behind them and grew boring and were never able to enter the “sophisticated older woman” phase of their lives.

Bursting the botox bubble

As we approach 2010, the ‘90s dumb-girl look has reached critical mass. Cuties like Meg Ryan have become plastic surgery nightmares. We need to return to the days of Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot, when women wore their curves and did their best to grow old gracefully. The days where Betty Grable and Mae West didn’t need Stoli Blueberry and a frat boy to feel good. Guys, let’s stop rewarding women for acting like little girls because, as good as the immediate gratification is, the long-term consequences of synthetic mess-faces and artificial conversation won’t be worth it.

Women become less sexually active and less interested in sex as they get older, on average, but there are still plenty of women who continue to have sex and maintain their sexual desire into their 60s and beyond, new research shows.

And a woman’s mental and physical health has more of an influence on her sex life than her age, according to the researchers.

Conventional wisdom holds that women’s sexual activity and interest dwindles as time goes by, but research has shown that some women maintain satisfying sex lives well into old age, Dr Alison J. Huang of the University of California at San Francisco and her colleagues note in the Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.

To investigate what factors might be associated with sustained interest in sex, they had 1977 racially and ethnically women, aged 45 to 80 years old, fill out questionnaires on their physical, mental and sexual health. Just over two-thirds were married or living with a partner.

Forty-three per cent of the women overall said that their interest in or desire to have sex was “moderate to very high” over the past three months, while 60 per cent reported some sexual activity in the previous three months.

For women 65 and older, 28 per cent reported at least moderate interest in sex during the past three months, and nearly 37 per cent had engaged in sexual activity during that time.

Fifty-seven per cent said they were at least moderately sexually satisfied. The sexually inactive women were more likely to be satisfied with their sex lives if they were older.

The most common reasons women cited for not being sexually active included lack of interest (39 per cent), lack of a partner (36 per cent), a partner’s physical problems (23 per cent), and a partner’s lack of interest in sex (11 per cent). Only about 9 per cent of the women said that their own physical problems were the cause.

Being married or living with a partner more than tripled a woman’s likelihood of having sex at least weekly. The chances of having weekly sexual activity also rose with a woman’s scores on tests of mental and physical health.

The researchers identified some ethnic and racial differences among the women; for example, black women were more likely than white women to report at least moderate desire to have sex, but less likely to have sex weekly, while Latina women who were sexually active were more likely than sexually active whites to report being at least moderately satisfied with their sex lives.

Many factors could account for these differences, including cultural influences, Huang and her team note. “Additionally, there may be important differences in women’s willingness to acknowledge or report sexual activity and problems across racial and ethnic groups,” they add.

“Further research is needed to assess how these differences may influence medical discussions about sexual functioning in women of diverse backgrounds,” they conclude.

Pink Visual has shot what it claims to be the first porn scene using an iPhone 3GS.

“We figured this was the next logical step in our ongoing fascination with the iPhone,” said Pink Visual spokeswoman Kim Kysar in a statement. “I think it’s safe to say we are the most ‘iPhone-centric’ porn company around.”

Based in the San Fernando Valley (or Porn Valley), the company’s slogan is: “We innovate, you masturbate.”

The new scene features “popular cougars” Lexi LaMour and Diamond Foxxx, [pictured] Pink Visual said, and is being published as a webisode on MilfSeeker.com (Definitely NTSFW).

The scene was shot by director Matt Morningwood, who said it was easy to shoot with the iPhone. The 3GS gave the scene a certain ‘cinema verite’ and was easier to get into tight spots than a big HD camera.
